Job description
Be one of the first engineers at a venture-backed, AI-native supply chain company that uses LLMs to buy and sell inventory as an AI-powered distributor. You will own entire problem domains and set the engineering bar.
What you'll do
- Own full problem domains end to end, such as the purchase order lifecycle, entity resolution, and agentic search
- Build core AI infrastructure: entity matching, product substitution via RAG, pricing discovery, and a durable-execution agent platform on distributed systems
- Get on the phone with customers and turn messy real-world problems into shipped solutions
- Work with large-scale supply chain data that today runs on email, PDFs, and tribal knowledge
- Set engineering culture and standards as a founding engineer
Compensation
$150,000 to $300,000 base plus founding equity.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, five days a week. Relocation support available. Open to visa transfers and new sponsorship.
Requirements
- 2 to 15 years as a software engineer, founding engineer, or systems architect
- Strength in complex system design, distributed systems, durable execution, or large datasets
- Node, Python, or TypeScript
- Customer-facing experience
- Able to work on-site in San Francisco five days a week
- Commercial sense and product judgment
