Job description
Be the first dedicated mobile engineer at an AI-native social platform for consumer brands, where agents handle community management and social listening across millions of conversations a week. You will architect, build, and launch the React Native app on iOS and Android ahead of its public launch.
What you'll do
- Architect, build, and launch the React Native app on iOS and Android
- Set mobile architecture, shared components, testing, CI/CD, and performance standards
- Build AI-powered real-time features on distributed systems
- Integrate social and commerce APIs such as TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and Shopify
- Help build out the mobile team as it grows
Compensation
$200,000 to $400,000 base, plus equity and an annual bonus.
Location
Hybrid in Palo Alto, CA, four days a week, with relocation support. Remote in the U.S. considered for exceptional candidates. Visa transfers welcome, no new sponsorship.
Requirements
- 5 to 16 years as a founding or senior engineer
- Deep React Native across iOS and Android
- Production apps live in the App Store
- Strong mobile architecture, navigation, and state management
- Distributed systems, external APIs, and real-time, data-heavy features
- Able to work from Palo Alto four days a week, or relocate
- Nice to have: zero-to-one startup work; social, e-commerce, or commerce infrastructure
- Current U.S. work authorization (transfers OK, no new sponsorship)
