Job description
A Series A AI robotics company deploying general-purpose robots into factories and warehouses is hiring Robotics Software Engineers. Engineers flex up and down the robotics stack, from microcontroller firmware to cloud infrastructure, across real-time robot code, motion planning, ML systems, data-labeling frontends, and optimizing compilers. Everyone is a Member of Technical Staff, and level is set during the interview process.
What you'll do
- Work across the full robotics stack: firmware, real-time robot code, motion planning, ML systems, tooling, and infrastructure
- Deploy software onto real robots in real facilities
- Collaborate closely with the team on hard problems, flexing across problem areas as needed
Compensation
- $130,000 to $180,000 base

Location
On-site in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- Exceptionally strong programming skills, comfortable in any language (specific stacks or robotics/ML experience is helpful but not required)
- A natural collaborator who works well at a whiteboard in a team setting
- Excited by robotics and comfortable stepping into a factory or warehouse
Nice to have: advanced Python and/or TypeScript with React; robot arms and manipulation; motion planning; perception or computer vision; infrastructure and devtools; hardware/software integration.
