Join the founding engineering team at a Series A company building an AI-native replacement for enterprise business intelligence tools. You will build and scale the data pipelines behind latency-critical analytical workloads and work across the whole codebase.
What you'll do
- Build and scale large data pipelines for latency-critical analytics
- Work across the entire codebase, not a single silo
- Design cost-efficient, secure, scalable cloud systems
- Shape the product and engineering roadmap with the co-founders and customers
Compensation
$250,000 to $300,000 base, plus competitive equity.
Location
On-site in San Mateo, CA, four days a week.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a backend engineer
- Strong engineering-culture background (high-growth product or infrastructure companies)
- A CS, EE, Physics, Stats, or Math degree from a top-tier university
- Stack: Python, TypeScript, Rust
- Able to work on-site in San Mateo
- Visa: TN, case-by-case H-1B transfer, or OPT with lottery attempts remaining
