Job description
Join a modern EDI platform that builds AI directly into how companies exchange orders, invoices, and shipping data with their trading partners. You will own the design, delivery, and reliability of complex parts of the platform, increasingly by directing AI coding agents and reviewing their work.
What you'll do
- Lead the technical design of major systems end to end
- Ship production work with AI coding agents, and set the quality bar for how the team uses them
- Own reliability and performance of the parts of the platform you build
- Mentor other engineers and partner closely with product
Compensation
$190,000 to $225,000 base, plus equity.
Location
Remote in the U.S. or Canada, Pacific hours preferred. No visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- 5 to 15 years in product engineering
- Expert Node.js and TypeScript
- Distributed systems and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
- Has owned the technical design of a major system end to end
- Hands-on experience shipping production work with AI coding agents
- Product-minded communicator
- Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, React, NestJS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, microservices, AWS
- Growth-stage startup background a plus
- U.S. or Canada work authorization (no sponsorship)
