Job description
A well-funded AI infrastructure company is hiring a fractional Sales Engineer to support technical sales conversations, evaluation, and solution design for its enterprise GPU capacity platform. You will work closely with the founders, the sales lead, data center partners, OEMs, and prospective enterprise customers.
This is a part-time, fractional engagement, roughly 5 to 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
What you'll do
- Join technical sales conversations with enterprise clients and AI organizations
- Assess customer needs across GPU specifications, cluster size, networking, storage, and deployment timelines
- Translate requirements into proposed configurations using current NVIDIA systems and NVL72-class deployments
- Write solution briefs and architecture summaries
- Work with infrastructure partners on feasibility across power, cooling, and deployment logistics
- Support commercial discussions by validating technical parameters around utilization and capacity
- Act as technical advisor on customer calls alongside sales leadership
Compensation
$100 to $175 per hour, based on background and expertise.

Requirements
- Experience in AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, data centers, enterprise compute, HPC, networking, or technical sales
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Blackwell systems, HGX architecture, NVL72, InfiniBand, and Ethernet networking strongly preferred
- Background at a hyperscaler, OEM, or infrastructure firm valued
- Able to explain sophisticated infrastructure concepts across technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment
